Ouch!

I just wanted to pen a quick apology to our readers for our lack of content this week.  I threw out my back (doing absolutely nothing I might add) and have been focusing on resting and recovery.  I guess too much lifting of my very heavy 17 month old who won’t walk is finally getting to me/my back!

I do have a lot of great entries planned though.  A first peek at the New Valco Ion stroller with a VALCO STROLLER GIVEAWAY – stay tuned.

Also a review with photos of Regal Lager’s new line – the Cybex umbrella strollers and carseats.

    try sleeping flat on your back without a pillow, even on the floor or if on your side stick a pillow between your legs to keep your spine straight.

    Hmm… I would have to disagree with the sleeping without a pillow thing. You might try adding pillows in places that you have never needed them before. On your back, try sleeping with a pillow (or two) under your knees so that it elevates your legs and keeps your back from arching. Or if that is uncomfortable, try the opposite. Lower your legs and put a small pillow under your lower back. On your tummy, you might try sleeping with a pillow under your tummy near your hips. On your side, definitely have a pillow (a thicker pillow or even a folded pillow will work) between your legs and possibly a small towel roll or thin pillow under your side. Sometimes it even helps to have a folded or thick pillow to lay your arm on as well so that your arm does not pull your shoulder forward. I would love to tell you more, but without knowing exactly what is wrong (i.e. an evaluation by a doctor or a Physical Therapist), it can be more detrimental to your injury if you do the wrong exercises or stretches.
