There has been some worry recently about whether purchasing a Mountain Buggy is a good decision since their parent company was in receivership. You can stop worrying!
DaddyTypes.Com (a fabulous blog if you were wondering!) just reported (from the National Business Review) that Phil and Ted’s – of the famous 4 in 1 Sport/Dash/Vibe Strollers has bought their New Zealand counterpart Mountain Buggy.
This is great news for many Mountain Buggy owners who were worried what would become of their warranty. This is I’m sure also great news (at least for the meanwhile) for many Mountain Buggy employees. Phil and Ted’s will continue to run the New Zealand factory at least for the short-term since Mountain Buggys are still manufactured in their homeland.
As for the future – well we hope that the innovation that Phil and Ted’s is known for can also combine with the high quality that Mountain Buggy is known for to produce some great powerhouse strollers – don’t let us down guys!
