I just ordered the City Select and can’t wait until it arrives. (It’s supposed to be here the end of March barring any further delays by BJ) I have a 20 month old and a 2 week old and am so excited to finally have a stroller that seems to fit all my needs perfectly! I’ll post my “experiences” soon.

Hello!

Can you tell me what type of a car seat (and the adapters for it) will this Bugaboo Bee Plus take? Also do you have to take the car seat adapter off every time you fold the stroller. I was looking to get the Maxi Cosi car seat not the Graco and I’m hoping that the Maxi Cosi adapters are the smaller ones that they even had in the curent video for the original Bee.

I think most comments here are from moms but this is a to-be dad’s perspective. I have tested this out at a store in Los Angeles and liked it a lot. That said I’m 6′3″ so the weight and size issue isn’t as much a concern for me as it is my wife. I have friends with the UppaBaby Vista who love it, but they only plan on having one child. Comments that I have read from people who have tried the 2 baby set-up on the Vista suggest it falls short.

I noticed that just about every City Select owner who commented on this post seems to love it. The people who have been most critical of it are the ones who tried it in the store and felt it didn’t measure up to the Bugaboo or Phil and Ted. And yet I have read more negative reviews by owners of both those two brands than of Baby Jogger or UppaBaby. It’s really insane how different everyone’s perspective is and it makes it difficult to choose. And it seems like a lot of the opinions from non-owners are missing information that owners have proven is either irrelevant or factually incorrect.

Anyway, I’m still torn between the Vista and the City Select – we’ll see what happens in the coming days. Best of luck to those still searching.

Hiya, Does anyone know if the red,black and cream baby jogger city mini is an old colour or a new one as it doesn’t show on their website? Also what is the extra storage on the 2009 BJCM?

We went to the store to buy a single Valco Trimode, since we want to get rid of our seldomly-used Valco Twin Trimode. Then there was this Baby Jogger City Elite side-by-side with Valco. Absolutely love it! It has all the nice feature of the toddler jump seat yet it is soooo much easier to fold. When I used the Valco Twin Trimode,I was almost a unofficial spokeperson for it since I talked to virtually everyone passing me by. Now I am ready to take on the new title, “Baby Jogger City Elite spokesmom,” if someone would award me the job!!!

Hi Hannah…I also have twins and am torn between the baby jogger city select (tandem) and the new stroll Air duo (side by side). Both have the reversible seats that I am seeking. The only thing a few twin parents have commented to me is that it feels like you only can see one baby when pushing if they are both facing you. what are your thoughts after owning it for your twins? I have 4 month old twins and a 4 year old

I called Bugaboo to get the standing dimensions of the new Bee, but they said they didn’t have that information! How annoying is that? Is there any way you can get it?

gosh, it’s hideous. I understand the need for a quiet few minutes as much as the next overtired, horrendously busy, overstretched and frazzled mother BUT a DVD in a buggy? Yikes.
Toys, buggy books, (age appropriate)snacks… all fair enough for distacting bored and fidgety little ones but I’d never consider a DVD n a buggy. I’ rather use a sling when possible anyway; they are much less fretful in a sling, ime.

I just got a city select for my 7 month old twins and have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It does not feel like a “train” the way most front/back doubles do. It fits everywhere when out and about with it. A few things to note that dont show on the video, when the seats are reclined facing each other they can lay fully flat but they extend the size of the stroller. As others mentioned you need to change the “foot” part of the seats when folding or moving seats into different arrangements. The front wheels lock or move. Overall I just cant say enough good things about it!!
