I just ordered the City Select and can’t wait until it arrives. (It’s supposed to be here the end of March barring any further delays by BJ) I have a 20 month old and a 2 week old and am so excited to finally have a stroller that seems to fit all my needs perfectly! I’ll post my “experiences” soon.

I think most comments here are from moms but this is a to-be dad’s perspective. I have tested this out at a store in Los Angeles and liked it a lot. That said I’m 6′3″ so the weight and size issue isn’t as much a concern for me as it is my wife. I have friends with the UppaBaby Vista who love it, but they only plan on having one child. Comments that I have read from people who have tried the 2 baby set-up on the Vista suggest it falls short.

I noticed that just about every City Select owner who commented on this post seems to love it. The people who have been most critical of it are the ones who tried it in the store and felt it didn’t measure up to the Bugaboo or Phil and Ted. And yet I have read more negative reviews by owners of both those two brands than of Baby Jogger or UppaBaby. It’s really insane how different everyone’s perspective is and it makes it difficult to choose. And it seems like a lot of the opinions from non-owners are missing information that owners have proven is either irrelevant or factually incorrect.

Anyway, I’m still torn between the Vista and the City Select – we’ll see what happens in the coming days. Best of luck to those still searching.

Hi Hannah…I also have twins and am torn between the baby jogger city select (tandem) and the new stroll Air duo (side by side). Both have the reversible seats that I am seeking. The only thing a few twin parents have commented to me is that it feels like you only can see one baby when pushing if they are both facing you. what are your thoughts after owning it for your twins? I have 4 month old twins and a 4 year old

I just got a city select for my 7 month old twins and have to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It does not feel like a “train” the way most front/back doubles do. It fits everywhere when out and about with it. A few things to note that dont show on the video, when the seats are reclined facing each other they can lay fully flat but they extend the size of the stroller. As others mentioned you need to change the “foot” part of the seats when folding or moving seats into different arrangements. The front wheels lock or move. Overall I just cant say enough good things about it!!

I checked out the Select in the store today and was impressed. I have a Phil and Teds and compared the lengths in the store by eyeballing. Looked about the same to me, although I didn’t check the specs. Oh, where was this stroller when my twins were born?

The specs state that when used as a double, the stroller is 53 inches long. I got a measuring tape out – and wow! – it seems like a train! But, in the video demos, the stroller does not seem that long. Those of you that have seen/used it in person, does it feel that long? (I don’t have any stroller stores in my area to see it for myself.) Thanks!

Hi, can anyone tell me the length of the City Select if you have the carrycot/pram attachment at the bottom and then the toddler seat facing you at the top. i.e. the measurement from end of the carrycot pram all the way to the end of the handle bars?

I’m in the UK..and need to check it will fit my elevator before I order from the US!! It looks fabulous… nothing like it for sale here. Thank you.

For tandem mode, you’ll need the extender arms as well, which are only sold with the second seat, so you’ll have to budget for an additional $159.

Hi there. I just bought a Phil and Ted’s Sport double. I am expecting a baby in March andmy son will be 2 1/2. I am thinking about returning the Phil and Ted’s and gettin the City Select, bu I had a question. To start off I could simply purchase the singl stroller and the car seat adapter and it would accomodate mynewborn and todder correct. Just not looking forward to reaking the bank allat once . Thanks
