Okay it’s that time of year again.  When we’re cleaning house at our store and opening it up to everyone for one day, Sunday August 23rd from 10 am – 4 pm for awesome deals!  This year it’s going to be even better!!

Last year for the first time we combined our storewide event with a charity stroller donation drive.  We collected people’s clean, still-working older strollers and snap and go’s for donation to a local Oakland non-profit (A Brighter Beginning)  that benefits low-income families and children.  In exchange for helping our stroller drive, Let’s Go Strolling will give you a $25 gift card that can be used during our storewide sale that day on already fabulously low prices!  It’s a win-win for our customers and for a fabulous community organization and the families it serves.  Last year we collected almost 30 strollers and we are hoping to surpass that this year!

Need another reason to come besides the great prices and chance to help others?  We are also doing free hourly raffles for fabulous prizes including Ju-Ju-Be diaper bags, Bebe Au Lait, Zo-Li BPA free bottles, Skip Hop Diaper Bags and get this: an Orbit Bassinet valued at $240!  But I don’t have an Orbit stroller you might say?  Don’t worry – the Orbit Bassinet Cradle comes with it’s own stand and can be used as a beautiful and roomy stand-alone bassinet for the first 6 months of baby’s life!  (P.S. Ever since the 2008 ABC show last year when we mentioned Phil and Ted’s would be releasing the Peanut, a hard-bodied bassinet for their Vibe stroller, we’ve been constantly asked when this would be available.

Well we just got word that the new Peanut bassinet for the Vibe will be available at the end of this month!
