Okay sorry I haven’t posted in a few days but the cold/flu bug has laid me up like so many other people I know this early spring.  Despite this I am still really looking forward to going to Vegas for a girl’s weekend away this weekend with some of my best girlfriends.

There will be four of us going to celebrate a friend’s 40th birthday and it seemed so exciting to plan it.  Now however, I’m a bit anxious to leave my 13 month old daughter who is still nursing at night.  I know her Dad will deal (probably by turning off the baby monitor – let’s be honest) and my whole brood will have fun without me.  Grandma, my mother-in-law is even coming in to help out Daddy and have fun with the kids.  It will be okay right?

One thing did make me laugh.  One of my friends sent this video on to me about what all “the husbands” will be doing while we are in Vegas. I’m sitting home sick and totally hysterically laughing.  I’m sure this will be a lot funnier if you put the guys in your life into this video but for now – I’ll share the man in my life with you all doing the chippendales dance.  You get to guess which one he is!
