Every year thousands of vendors and ever more retail stores converge in Vegas for the largest annual Baby Show. It is 9+ football fields long of everything for baby and then some. We see products there you would never believe as well as some great keepers that we bring back to our store and our website for everyone to enjoy!
This is also the show where all the big brands, Valco, Mountain Buggy, Baby Jogger, Bugaboo, Orbit, Skip Hop, Fleurville, Storksak and more reveal their newest products and upcoming changes for the 2009 line-up. A few of these products are shipped right after the show but many more are released right after the New Year.
We especially wanted to know if you have any questions you are dying to have answered by the companies themselves. Whether it is the infamous “When will Bugaboo have a double stroller?” to the more detailed, “Can they make the canopy higher on the Valco Twin Latitude stroller?” We promise we will try to ask and answer all your questions. As much as they tell us - we will let you know.
This year we’ve decided to give away some of our favorite show products to some lucky readers who give us questions to investigate at Vegas. When will Uppa Baby be coming out with accessories? Like a footmuff and parasol?
I would love to know about great footmuffs/stroller blankets (with cold weather coming) for older ones that still ride…older than 18mos that is.

I would love to find out from Quinny if the penguin footmuff will only be available in stores (versus online) and when that will be.
I would love for you to find at the show a stroller that is lightweight, air tires, easy fold and BIG basket that has a weight capacity for a larger child. Silly thinking. :0)
Will it ever be possible to find a sit and stand that has a good push? I also want Mountain Buggy to manufacture a better sun shade for the MBUD!!

Hi Ladies! I would love to know if Bugaboo will do print canopies and liners for any of their strollers, also will they make a toddler board, a bumper bar and maybe optional winter tires for the Bee?

I would like a really pretty diaper bag that will fit nicely on my purple uppa baby!
I would love a more versatile reversible handle stroller than the Bee. Like one that you can REALLY steer in either direction. Like a Peg Venezia but…well, better. Orbit had a good idea with the seat that turns but that has its own drawbacks, especially when having to get around the frame with an older child (and lack of legrest).
I would like to know if Chicco is coming out with some new, updated colorways. Also, I can’t wait to see what fun new stuff Maclaren has!
Hoping to hear about any new stroller bags or cool new accessories - especially ones that would work on the baby jogger mini.
Is Bugaboo coming out with a double Bee? Does Bugaboo have plans to make an even lighter weight umbrella stroller with a one hand fold? Does Ergo plan on having a version that allows you to also carry the baby facing forward?

When will the industry design a safety chest clip for harness straps…to keep junior houdinis from getting out of strollers, highchairs, etc? It would be wonderful if such a clip could be multi-use.

I’d like to see P&T have a better system for holding drinks for the Sports Buggy. Also it would be nice if FV did a wristlet with credit card slots on one side.

I spoke to Uppa Baby a few weeks ago about potential changes to the Vista (wanted to know why was on sale everywhere) they said there were new colors and seat changes (I heard maybe a jump seat). What are the changes for 2009 and when will the stroller be available? Was wondering if worth waiting for, or just save money and get the 2008 on sale.
Strollers with higher weight limits (over 40 lbs)for the older kids who like to ride and thier parents who sometimes need to restrain them. Also, doubles that are steerable with bigger kids in them.
I would like to know if Bugaboo is still working on a universal wheeled board or if they will offer a proprietary one for the Bee.

We love the Fleurville kid’s messenger bag we have for our daughter and would like to get one for our son but I am not too crazy about the one and only boys pattern they carry. Will they have more patterns for boys soon?
Will Mutsy be coming out with a doubles seat specifically designed for the 4 rider or the Slider? Will they be making a toddler board designed for the Slider?

Very interested in the changes to the uppa baby vista. What new options are on the 2009 model and how soon are they available? I am on the verge of buying the 2008 model but if this one is worth the wait and available by November, then I am first in line.

1) Will BOB add more recline on the 12″AW to flat or close to it? Will they make the handlebar adjustable? Same question as above on more colors for the BOB 12″AW too.

Are there any liners that come specifically for a jogging stroller? I use mymonkeymoo in my bob revolution but it’s too small and fits better in my maclaren.
Also, i really liked the valco rad before i bought my bob. have they made any changes to the rad or come out with a new concept? the rad seemed too heavy for me and the shade was too small- any updates on those items?
I would love to know more about the new features of the baby jogger. I would also like to know if there is any way to retro-fit the new accessories to a 2007 model. I would also like to know more about any new invention that might assist in moving a sleeping baby (too big for the infant carrier) out of the car into either the house or stroller. You never know what they might come up with!! Have fun and I can’t wait to check back to read about all the cool gear you guys see!!
