It worked fine as an emergency measure (when the bustier was dirty or forgotten), but was too fussy for me. Maybe I did something wrong, but I could never get the funnel to stay in place until the pump was running, and still it kept slipping. I also found that futzing with the rubber bands was way more annoying than zipping up the bustier. Yes, the bustier costs money. But for my 9 months of pumping 4 days a week, it was well worth the 30 bucks I spent for the headaches saved. I have to say, I’ve done both and find the rubber band method really annoying.
