Why I love my Urbe

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

People ask me all the time “well what stroller do you have?”  I always answer that this is an unfair question because I have singles & doubles and the luxury of having multiple of each and always testing new ones.  But you know what my always at the ready lightweight is? My Inglesina Urbe.  I’ve had Maclarens, thUrbe in Salvia Quinny Zapp, and other well known lightweight but for reasons I can explain, it is my Urbe that lives in my car - always at the ready.

Why I love my Urbe:

- Ease of recline - one handed recline -couldn’t be simpler

- Depth of recline - can go almost flat to accommodate even the most active of toddlers who passes out on a long travel day.

- Seat Height - Very tall seat accommodates my 2 year old AND my 5 year old (although he looks a bit old to be riding if truth be told)

- Fabulous Push - the two front wheels make for a smooth and responsive push that I think is easily one of the best in the market

- Stylish looks - with the polished frame and single front wheels - the Urbe has a stylist look all its own.

- Compact fold with easy carry handle for liftingUrbe in Marina

- Price - At $199 the durability, padding, push, and recline of the Urbe is hard to beat.

Just going out for a few errands?

You know those quick little trips to the grocery store - or the mad dash out for diapers at Target at 9pm at night after the kids are in bed?  Or perhaps you and significant other actually have a date night where you go out, try not to talk too much about the kids, and pretend you wouldn’t rather be at home asleep in bed. . .

 Fleurville Wristley

Well if your diaper bag has become your purse - we have the perfect accessory for you!  The Fleurville wristlet holds just the right amount for dashing out on the lighter side.  It zips open easily to fit your cell phone, keys, and even some credit cards or cash.  Then it hangs handily on your wrist for easy carrying and less chance of forgetting it somewhere!  I have had a similar coach bag before and given it as very popular gifts. . . the Fleurville wristlet is even better!

First of all - it is made with the easily washable Fleurville materials which guarantee easy clean-up even if you spill your wine at dinner.  Secondly, it is a tad bit deeper than the Coach wristlet to hold even the newer phones like Treo, and lastly at $19.95, the Fleurville wristlet is priced to be an affordable luxury every mom will love.

Perhaps you should spoil yourself or a new mom you know a little bit today?

Does your little one need a boost? Check out KaBoost

So I’m often asked after baby trade shows - did you see anything really unique.  While their is always something that makes you think “huh?” there are also occasionally products that make you say “That’s Brilliant!”

Kaboost Booster SeatOne of the products I saw this time was the Kaboost portable booster.  The unique thing about this booster is that it goes UNDER any chair you have, instead of on top.  This is the prefect solution for parents whose children have outgrown the high chair and need that “next step solution.”  While many parents are happy to invest in the fabulous Stokke Tripp Trapp others feel that they don’t want another piece of baby furniture taking up their living space.  The Kaboost is perfect for those that want that simple yet practical solution, or those that just want the option to have another kids chair for dinner guests or eating out.

This little device has all the functionality you would want - easy to attach, won’t scratch your chair legs, and even has two height setting for different chairs or tables.  It will come in 4 colors to match any decor- chocolate, green, charcoal, and natural (but I’m voting for the green).  Plus, weighing in at just 3lbs this is a portable yet easy solution to eating anywhere where your child won’t easily reach the table but doesn’t want to be in a highchair anymore.  I know I am grabbing one up for my little guy - who always wants to be in exactly the same chair as his older brother!

And did I mention it is only $40 - and with nothing to clean like your other travel booster seats - you’d probably be willing to pay double for that convenience!  Coming to fine retailers, like Let’s Go Strolling, this summer. . .
