Your Budding Scientist

So I am lucky enough to live in an area with fabulous kids museums and more than one exceptional children’s science museum. The one closest to our house is Lawrence Hall of Science though. Since it is so close. I had signed my son and his best friend up for a “Colorful Science” course on Monday afternoons. While it is a bit of a schlep to get from preschool, pick up his best friend and make it to class at the top of a hilly, windy drive on top, it’s definitely worth it. The view of the Golden Gate bridge and sunset from Lawrence Hall of Science is amazing and my son LOVES his class. Overall he’s a bit of a science geek though and loves all things science. But really what kid doesn’t love mixing up their own homemade colorful potions at home. That is why I thought I’d mention his first science kit which is really easy for kids to master and easy for you to help them with. It’s available all over the web but I found it easily along with some other great science kits at http://www.fao.com/home.jsp.
Hope this helps you enjoy as much cool chemical fun as I have!
